The Track

The Lions ventured down to Penn National Racetrack in Grantville, PA back in 1988 for a little "action with the ponies".  This photo was taken after the first annual "Mt. Carmel Lions Club Derby" race.

The participants, from left to right, are the trainer, Jeff Kanezo, Tony Miscavige, Warren Altamore, the Jockey (although we really can't tell if the two persons to his left are jockeys also), John Kaminski, Francis Filardo, Arthur Schaeffer, Perino Bevivino, Bruce Fitzgerald, Kevin Jones, Hugh Jones and Ray Rothermel.
